Lip tie healing

That looks like it might be infected based on the pus- I would ask your pediatrician!

Oh goodness! I don't remember my girl's tie healing like that! It stayed red & healed very quickly. Does she act like she's in pain?

Definitely not. My daughters did not look like that. This looks infected. Call the doctor who did the surgery. Not the pediatrician. The doctor specializes in this. Pediatricians don’t know much about lip ties.

I couldn’t wait so I messaged me doctor and she said it looks like normal slough tissue from healing and asked about her eating and nursing which she is doing great! She said she believes all is good. I have an appointment on the 3rd and she said she’d look at her if I’m still concerned

I dont know. My daughter is 3 and her dentist and doctor have both decided to leave hers alone. And it’s pretty big.

Talked to both doctor and dentist and they said it is healing properly
