Spotting vs. Light flow?

On the last day of your period, when it’s mostly just brown, old blood, and it doesn’t even really show on the pad, would you log that as “spotting” or “light?”

If it ends up on a pad or panties, I call it light. If I only see it when I wipe, spotting.

Spotting is always spotting. Your cycle doesn't actually start until you have your first day of full red flow. so when you get that first day of full red flow that's your cd1. Any kind of spotting before that is pre period spotting.

i just put it as spotting because i’m not actually bleeding anymore it’s just the old brown blood that’s left now and there isn’t a lot of it.
