How do you know if he’s into you orrrrr

Just desperate?

I got back into contact with this guy after 4 years. He tells me he’s ready to settle down and get married and wants to take care of me and my son. He says he’s always known I was a good girl and blah blah blah.

I mean I know what I have to offer and I know I’m a great catch. But how do I know if he’s really into me or if he’s just willing to settle with anyone? Should I even be thinking of that? I mean I want to be loved because of who I am.. not just become he’s found someone who wants to settle down also.. if you get what I mean
