When did little one start sleeping with pillow or stuffed animal?

When did your toddler start wanting to sleep with something? My little guy is 17 months old and won’t keep anything in his crib. I’ve tried a pillow and different stuffed animals but he just throws it all out of his crib. Normal?

May get bashed but we co slept l. So he was used to feeling my husband and I next to him plus our pillows and comforter. Now he’s in his crib and he has his own toddler bedding. Pillow/comforter and he sleeps with a stuffed dinosaur

I gave my daughter a stuffy to sleep at 15 months when I took away her pacifier. It helped her. She didn’t really “sleep” with it until recently. Now, she’s 17 months and she actually cuddles with them.

I think normal! My son is still in a sleep sack, nothing else in his crib. He's sort of starting to not move around as much so maybe we can add something soon. But up til now, he would be alllll over the crib all night, so definitely wouldn't use a pillow or blanket. Lol.

On the plus side, you’re continuing to prevent SIDS? Mine is trying to get all the blankets and stuffed animals in her crib! Ugh.
