So I visited my doctor to get birth control and I am on my period now. When do I take it? I think she said the first Sunday after the period ends

Typically you start either the first Sunday following the start of your period or the first day of your period. These start dates make it so your cycle stays pretty much the same. But read your pamphlet it should tell you in there when to take it.

U can start whenever u want. If ur still within the the first 5 days of ur period, u can start it now & it’ll be effective immediately. If u wait until Sunday or another time, then it’ll take a full 7 days to be effective. So, it’s completely up to u when u start.
