Post- Mirena fertility possibility

I just took a pregnancy test today, after my hubs and I have been trying (we followed my cycle and ovulation- my first child after depo happened immediately when we tried) and sadly it was not pregnant. my heart is a little sad. We wanted baby #2 to be conceived before he left for a military deployment.

I’ve been reading a lot of scary things saying mirena has the possibility of creating fertility issues and most women do have this struggle after using mirena.

How many of you are struggling after mirena? How many of you had kids right after?

I just need some assurance or personal stories.
