Induced sooner than I anticipated.

I'm in a weird position, I've been diagnosed with GD. I've been diet controlled and I'm currently 38+6.. WOOHOO. I'm enjoying pregnancy still, no sign of labor and no other complications other than GD.

My primary OB only delivers at a certain hospital, but because I am now considered high risk, they would prefer I deliver at a different hospital. They referred me to a specific doctor who has privileges at this new hospital and have stated that my primary OB will remain my main doctor, just not able to deliver my baby. (Tbh, I don't mind whoever delivers, I'll probably end up with someone random who is on call anyways)

Primary doc told me last Thursday that thanks to GD, they plan on inducing me before 10.9.18 if I haven't had her by my next appointment naturally. (10.5.18) I met with the high risk doctor today and they don't want me passing 39 weeks, but because they are booked tomorrow when I become 39 weeks, I will be getting induced on Wednesday. 10.3.18

Holy fart you guys, I was NOT expecting this to move so fast! I'm KINDA feeling numb to this and I know it's going to smack me soon. I was dreading being induced, more because of the anticipation of a definite time and date. I know I will not be sleeping well Tuesday night.
