Best first time mom books?

I'm very excited to be a mom for the first time in May. My best friend was sweet enough to buy me What to Expect when You're Expecting. I am just finding the book hard to get through and very technical. Is there any other books I and maybe my husband should look at?

I really like “the girlfriends guide to pregnancy” it’s real and straight to the point but funny, too! There are things I’ve read where it’s like “wow I thought I was the only one that thought of that”. And I also like “the pregnancy encyclopedia” for more of the technical or pregnancy questions I was having. My friends gave me a bunch and I’m only 8 weeks so I haven’t gotten through them all, but so far those 2 I’m a big fan of!

I have the book pregnancy day by day and it’s amazing! I’m in Canada and got it at indigo- i’m sure it’s available online! It goes threw everyday of pregnancy- I read it almost everyday, it’s full of information!
