Is this chicken pox???

My son is 1 month old. Does this look like chicken pox?? If so should i go ahead and take him to the ER or wait and go to his pediatrician

It does look like it. Those blisters are filled with liquid. Definitely go in and get him looked at. At just a month old, that's scary. If he was older it wouldn't be. Varicella vaccine is a live virus that sheds. Has he been around anyone recently vaccinated??

Make an appointment with his doctor and tell them you suspect chicken pox so they take infectious disease precautions.

It could be a staph infection. Baby's get them in the diaper area.

Looks more like a rash. Try changing to a new brand of diapers or wipes. I don’t think it’s chicken pox. It wouldn’t be localized to just the diaper area.

Looks like moloscum contagiosum. My son had it when he was about 10 months. Very contagious in children and can take months to go away. Doesn't seem to bother them but looks bad
