Any moms-to-be trying cloth diapers?

I have been putting together my stash and I can’t wait! I have 36 newborn prefolds (which I plan on using as inserts when she outgrows them), 6 Alvababy one size pocket diapers and 6 BabyGoal one size diaper covers with 12 microfiber inserts and 12 bamboo inserts. My sister in law also said she had tried cloth diapers for her 2 year old but didn’t like it, and she is giving me hers, too, but I don’t know yet what she has.

One of my lovely cousins got me a whole set with double liners that fit up until potty trainned for my baby shower! i am exited to start with them....though i thibk first few weeks i will be using disposables to not stress myself out too much...learn my baby first then ladd new process in....will be using cloth at home and disposables for outings is my goal :D

We have ours from first son still. He must be potty trained before baby gets here though. We use pocket diapers from Kawaii and have used them since he was 3 months old (21 months now.)

I have my stash from my first baby so that’s helpful. I do use cheap aldi disposables for outings and at night.

We cloth diapered our first as soon as the meconium poos were done and the umbilical cord falls off (the cloth came up a little too high and irritated her cord) we will use the sets we have and cloth diaper again.

We have used cloth with our first two, but not until around 6 months when they are chunkier and go less. I have Charlie Bannana's, Alva's and fuzzi bunz. It's easier since I'm a SAHM.

I'm waiting on my 10 pack of newborn sized cloth diapers to come from Alva, and have actually sewn a few myself. The savings is monumental, I'm so excited about it 😂

This will be my first time trying  clothes diapers. I have 6 Alva any size and inserts that I bought used. I'm a little bit nervous and confused about the whole process.
