My husband and I got back from a trip to Central America (Zika area) in late August. We are being careful and not trying to get pregnant until 3 months have past but I'm just wondering if anyone has ever gotten pregnant before the 3 month wait window is over? Is there a test that the doctor can give you to see if you were in fact exposed to Zika? I know they don't like giving the test unless someone is showing signs or is pregnant, but what if you accidentally get pregnant before you were planning on it? I wonder if there is a test for both partners in that case or if you just have to risk it.
