Question

lengthen your cycle after you record data?   I never had a 29 day cycle on glow yet it just changed it to 29 days.   they changed my fertile window too.  my chart is different today from yesterday.

Answer

If your cycle changes - for example you ovulated later this cycle then glow will change your cycle end date because your period is dictated by when you ovulate.
If for example you usually have a 26 day cycle and usually ovulate cd12 and you record data that confirms ovulation at cd12 then it doesn't need to change your cycle length.
If however you normally have a 26 day cycle but don't ovulate until cd15 one cycle then your cycle length will change to 29 days
(The above is obviously assuming you have an average 14 day luteal phase - time between ovulation and the first day of your period. The luteal phase is pretty fixed, only differing by a day or so for some women. But ovulation day can and does move. Lots of things affect ovulation - stress, illness, change in diet/sleep pattern, new house/job/school, traveling to name a few... and these things can either delay your ovulation or make it come sooner)
