Picture day: casual or dressy?

Hi everyone! Tomorrow is my daughter’s (age 4) very first school picture day. I don’t know if she should dress in nice casual clothes or wear a dress. What did your kids wear for picture day? Feel free to give ideas or even share picture day photos. Thanks for your input!

So was always dressy for picture day until I got to middle school then I went casual but I think when you are younger its nice to go all out unless she dosnt like to dress up.

Make sure you don’t have her wear blue! They almost always make the background blue.

i think the most important thing is a solid color top or very very simple patterned top like stripes! no rainbow hot pink leopard print. so, classy/dressy i guess!

Usually parents like to dres their kids in fairly nice to dressy clothes because they're going to purchase the pictures and want them to look nice

My kids have to run their laps tomorrow at school after their pictures. They prefer not to be dressy because they do not let them change. I like their hair down for photos, but because they can't pull their own hair up yet, they will get too hot at P.E.
