How long should we try potty training before determining it’s too soon? My daughter is almost 18 months old so still fairly young, but has shown interest in the potty. We bought her one and she has gone on it several times but the problem seems to be that she says potty as she is going. I can’t figure out how to get her to tell me BEFORE she goes. I know she’s still young that’s why I’m not sure if we just need to scrap it for now and come back to it in a couple months when she’s a little older.
