Anyone else not feel movement every hour?

I’m technically not 28 weeks until tomorrow, but I definitely don’t feel movement every hour. I seem to remember feeling the same with with my first. Does anyone else find the kick count thing really overwhelming/terrifying?

Yup aren’t supposed to feel it every hour. The counting kicks thing is supposed to be done like once a day (unless you are high risk and your doctor has told you to do it more) at the time when your baby is usually the most active.
Babies spend most of the time sleeping in the womb and often you don’t feel their every movement, especially if you have anterior placenta like me. People would go insane if they were meant to count kicks every hour! Don’t stress!

I don’t really do the kick counts. My baby is super active in the mornings and late at night with some smaller movements in the day. As long as I feel baby moving, especially at those times, I’m feel good.

I went in for my 28 week appt last week with the sams concern. My baby doesn’t have a set routine and some days are more active than others. My dr. did not advise me to count kicks yet. She said as long as I feel him moving every day, i’m fine.

Oh gosh I would go crazy if my baby moved every hour. Babies have sleep/awake cycles so you won't feel movement every hour.

Babies don’t usually move every hr, I don’t think. I think I’d go crazy if my boy did 😂😂 as long as you feel the 10 kicks within 2 hrs once a day then your good. Of course they move much more than that but I stopped doing my kick count because I know he’s moving and kicking at least 5 to 6 times a day for about an hr. Don’t let it overwhelm you just try to learn baby’s busy time and do it in your head

They don't move every hour, but I know my rainbow has a pattern he normally rolls or kicks in the morning when I take my medication and through out the day and then kicks again at night... If I don't feel his usual pattern I do everything the suggest to get him to move, if that doesn't work I call up and get monitored. So far he's had two episodes of reduced movement and everything has been fine!

They don’t move every hour. By 28 weeks you should have got use to your babies pattern, mine for example is more active from around 8pm. If I felt nothing from around babies normal routine then I would do the cold fizzy drink lay on left side and count kicks for the hour. If nothing in the hour then I would contact assessment unit. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be from 28 weeks that’s just a guideline Iv been use to my babies routine from week 25. No baby is the same. If it’s not your normal get baby check on for reassurance.

Mine moves non stop! I am literally sore from how much she moves. My pelvis aches from whatever trampoline act she’s performing on it. It feels bruised.

Anyone else not feel movement every hour?
