My father in law forgot to pick my oldest up from school. Again. This is the 3rd time in 3 weeks. I work an hour away, so it breaks my heart that I can’t do anything when this happens. And he has no excuse because 1. He’s retired and 2. My mother in law reminded him twice before hand that he had to pick her up. I just don’t know what to do. My mother in law can’t pick her up because she’s not comfortable dealing with the LO and her car seat and our steps. My husband works an hour away and can’t get there in time. And my work may not let me change my shift to allow me to pick her up. We talked about aftercare but it’s too expensive. Why can’t he do his one job??? And my poor baby thinks she’s being forgotten!! She’s so sad tonight and it breaks my heart.
