I have a family tradition that boys have j names. I’d like to continue that. My dads name is John so I’m ok with that but I have a cousin named Joshua so I’m limited if I go a different way. I can’t use Jacob because my dh middle name was Edward and I want to use that as tribute (he passed in an accident when I was 10 weeks). Jacob Edward is way too twilight. So back to the subject... I’m leaning to Johnathan but one of our good friends names is Jonathan. Is that too weird. I know no one in my family would be stupid enough to make the joke, or even think, that our friend Jon is the father of this baby but is it too weird.
