So my husband and I have had 3 cars. ALL of them get disgustingly dirty. I mean to the point that deep cleaning them does nothing. They all smelled absolutely horrible. My husband is a pipeliner so of course he smells bad, and he is always covered in mud. Well, we needed a new vehicle and I really wanted a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. So, I got it last night. He travels for work so a used vehicle isn’t good for him. The deal was that he rides with his coworker that’s staying in the same hotel was. Or he takes his boots off and changes his muddy clothes and puts them in a tub that’s in the van so he doesn’t get it dirty.

Well, today he told me he was riding with a friend. But, he decided not to because he said he really wanted to show off the new car (he loves it) he just got home and guess what? The car is disgusting already. The seat and floor is covered in mud. He got the fucking radio screen dirty because his hands were covered in dirt. What does he say?

“Well I took off my boots before getting in”

YEAH BUT YOU DIDNT PUT THEM IN THE TUB. YOU PUT YOUR WET, MUDDY BOOTS ON THE FLOOR NEXT TO THE DAMN TUB.

He says I’m overreacting. Yes, I know it’s just a car but it’s a 40k car that we haven’t had for even 24 hours and it’s dirty. So guess who gets to scrub the carpets at night? 🙋‍♀️ me.

We are saving to get him a reliable work vehicle, we just needed something for the family right now since we have 4 kids.
