I know people say that “hate” is a strong word but is there someone out there that you hate?

My mother’s adopted sister lied to he government over and over again and had other family members do it to legally kidnap my son so she could adopt him and force her husband to stay because she had an affair on him and got laid off and her boyfriend left her so she had no income and nowhere to go so she took my kid as a reason to keep her husband from leaving her. She told me she was going to always tell my son that his biological mom (me) is dead.
And now I’m 27 with cancer. So that’s cool. Yeah, hate isn’t really strong enough. To never be able to ever have a family because the state told me they would take any children I have, and also get cancer which treatment (chemo and radiation) will leave me about a 2% chance that I could ever get pregnant again, never be allowed to foster or adopt. Who the hell would ever marry me if I literally can’t offer any future?
Again, hate isn’t strong enough of a feeling for me.

People get too hung up on hate being a "strong word". I disagree. Despise is a strong word. Loath is a strong word. Abhor is a strong word. Hate has become a more mild adjective in most cases or the go-to in the ravings of an angsty teen.
That said, I don't spend my time focusing on negative feelings. But there are people who, if they died, I would not mourn.

Nah, hate is a cage and nobody puts me in a cage... there are people I strongly dislike but I always thought if you hate someone you could wish them dead and there's nobody I would want to die, even the really rotten people I know.

Right now ... these hormones have projected a lot of hate onto one person ... 🤦🏻‍♀️ not my hubby 😏 but there are some pretty valid reasons for sure ... 🤷🏻‍♀️usually though I am not very hateful
