Ovulation Test

ovulation test question
I took this ovulation test at 11:30 and waited a few minutes and saw a Second line but it was very faint meaning negative. Then I put it with my other test sticks (as I like to watch progression) and it was wayyyy darker then before. I know the box says not to read after 5 min but could I maybe not have waited long enough? All my other negative tests look the same even hours later. I took another test today at 6pm and it was negative.
