My heart is feeling broken today. This has nothing to do with children, but has to do with my dog. Today I made the decision to rehome him to a family cousin of ours who has kids, a lot of space, and time for him. I’ve had him for 3 years since a puppy. I didn’t give him the love or attention he needed.. and it was starting to take its toll on me when it came to his life. He’s already receiving so much love and cuddles over there. But I can’t stop crying. Has anyone been through this that has any advice with coping from the heartbreak of rehoming? It feels just as bad as a breakup. 😢😢😢
