How accurate are OPK's?

I have PCOS and never had a positive test...I took 3 Today at different times and all came out positive....only I'm 9 days past due of AF...I'm so confused....could it be I ovulated with out a period ? This has never happened before...I need some input ladies.

Pcos can give false positives on opks so I've heard.

They actually work fantastically for me! There is always a faint line, but I tape them in a notebook so I can compare them. And I've been using them for the months now and I always get my darkest test the day before I ovulate, and my bbt confirms that I did ovulate. I just use the cheap ones from Amazon. The key is taping them so you can compare.

I have pcos and used then to track my ovulation. Having said that you can also get a positive from an opk and be pregnant.
