When you want your period to come...

Question

Had to cancel my FET because my lining just wasn’t budging. My RE wants to wait a couple of natural cycles before trying again. I stopped estrogen Sunday morning but WHERE IS MY PERIOD? I want to get these natural cycle’s show on the road!
Anyone have to cancel an FET cycle- how long after stopped estrogen did you get your period? I would have thought it would have started today because when I go off OCPs it always shows up fast. I don’t have any signs or symptoms that it’s coming soon. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had a cancelled fet, we actually used progesterone to jump start my period and it started 4 days after stopping that (used progesterone for 5 days).  My lining wouldn’t budge either.  Turns out I don’t respond to the estrogen so for my second attempt at a fet we did a “natural” FET (except since I don’t ovulate I took femera).  We followed the lead follicle and when that ovulated we added in progesterone in oil and transferred 5 days later.  I am a firm believer a natural FET was better for my body.  I also drank a ton of room temperature water, Pom juice, Brazil nuts, bone broth, vitamin e, YouTube uterine lining yoga and acupuncture.  I believe all these things helped me get my lining to a 7.3 (thickest it’s ever been).  Also when ovulation was close we added in vaginal estrogen for a few days.  I know most doctors like the estrogen protocol for a FET because it gives them more control over the timing and less monitoring appointments but for me that was never going to work, my body needed to do it’s own thing.  Just my experience and something for you to consider (or not haha).  Good luck! I know how frustrating a cancelled cycle can be.
