I just went to the doctors today due to not having a period after 5 months of no birth contol. They prescribed me metformin because it helps hormone balancing. What I'm wanting to know is that did it help any of you guys get pregnant. He told me that if I don't get my period this month then we will either up the dosage or go into something more. I got blood work done to see if my thyroid is okay and everything else. Hopefully I get a call back tomorrow and everything is okay. Please let me know if it worked for you or if you had to up your dosage and/or how many rounds or whatever did you have to take to help your body regulate itself and get preggo??
