Well, today’s Ob appointment was eye opening and has shown me how unprepared I am for the pain that is to come with labour - I’m pretty sure I’ll want an epidural.😢

I’m fully effaced (cervix is paper thin), a little over 1cm dilated and bub is “very low and ready to go” (she also did a stretch & sweep, which I wasn’t prepared for). 4hrs later, I’m still laid up on the couch with a heat pack on what feels like period pain. Such fun.

Anyone with advice or an experience to share?
