2months old flying??

Question

Thoughts on a 2months old taking a 2hr flight?? Let me know your experience if you’ve done so. 
We’re going to ask her pedi as well. 
I know most people are going to say “too young, too many germs”. 
But for those that have flown with a 2months old- I’d like to know how it went.

I flew with my 1st daughter when she was 2mo old. She did great. I had her in a baby carrier the whole time with a pacifier(if baby takes one) i checked our bags and carried on her diaper bag with her formula and stuff she would potentially need. She slept the whole flight and when we had a layover I would change and feed her. Before boarding she went back into the carrier and slept through the entire 2nd flight.

Honestly it’s one of the easiest ages to fly with baby. Heading into cold/flu season I’d just take lots of hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes to wipe down arm chairs, tray table, etc, in your seats.

Were flying with a 2 month old for Thanksgiving. We bought him a seat so we can have a whole row on the plane so we don’t have to worry about sitting by a stranger. He’s getting his first round of vaccinations before we leave too.

We did it. It went great. Super easy. She slept the whole time. I baby wore (and recommend doing so).
