135/80 BP high?

Question

Is 135/80 a high blood pressure read? Had an appt yesterday and that's what mine was. Doctor didn't even bat and eye, be checked my urine protein and it was negative and that was that.. I just read on another page that someone was being induced for a reading like that.. I always thought anything over 140/90 was bad. Now I'm a little nervous. I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow. I have my own BP machine now sure if I should be keeping track of that now..

Mine is around 152/96 and I’m being induced at 37+5 because of it. I’m already medicated 3 times per day but it’s not enough. Mine isn’t pregnancy induced hypertension though it’s chronic so they are worried about my health not the baby’s. I’d love mine to be 135/80, so you are ok 😊 x

It’s a little high but nothing to worry about. I actually just got the same results at my doctors appointment this morning. My doctor gave me a sheet and said to check my blood pressure 2 a day and write it down to bring into the next appointment. Just make a little log to bring in next time. I wouldn’t be to worried though

Mine wasn’t happy with 140/70. At home it was 145/108 and 135/96 ... what she’s not happy about is I usually run 113/67 area .. above 140/90 they worry bc you have more leeway in pregnancy she said bc it’s normal to rise . But it all depends on your normal.. if your close to the 120/80 range it’s not much jump if your lower like me and it jumps then they worry I’m on bed rest for it currently and go back tomorrow . Mine will decrease when I’m laying down

Mine was 130/80, they also werent concerned, Im not sure what level they start to consider preeclampsia. My urine was okay too.
