Cervix check, mucus plug

Alright y’all, still having the contractions 🙄

I’m 35w2d and had a cervical exam today at l&d, this is baby #2 so I know hat slight spotting afterwards is normal.. BUT I went to the bathroom (4hrs since the hospital) and when I wiped there was dark red mucus plug. That never happened with my first and I’m wondering if it’s normal 😬
