Does anyone have experience with basal thermometers?

My birth control pills are negatively effecting me. I am looking for a less harmful method of birth control for my body. I was wondering if the basal thermometer method is effective in preventing birth. Any experiences? Thanks ladies! 💗💕💞

You can get a basal thermometer at Walmart for $7-8 a lot cheaper I highly recommend this book. Also apps good for basal charting are ovagraph, fertility friend, ovusoft, kindara. I'd stay away from glow for charting.
