Hemorrhoids🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ advice???

So apparently hemorrhoids are common durning the third trimester (I found out the hard way) Im also anemic, so my doctor has me taking iron pills. That’s making my extra constipated. I don’t see my OB till next week. Anyone have any advice? If being 34 weeks pregnant isn’t uncomfortable enough as is it is now this😫😫

Are you in the US? Not sure if it helps but iron tablets are renowned for making constipation worse so it’s better to take water soluble iron like spatone or floradix. The mg content isn’t as high but the body absorbs it more easily and it doesn’t block you up.

I’m right there with you.. about to ask to go on maternity next week because I’m in so much pain from standing all day (I work in retail). But I just found this product on another post. I ordered it and will be trying it out tomorrow because nothing is giving me relief either and I’ve stayed up on my fiber this pregnancy.

Try witch hazel wipes (Walmart), I was suffering big time a few weeks ago (also on iron) and they gave me instant relief and after one week that painful pain in the butt is gone!

Eat yogurt, prunes, lots of fruits and veggies high in fiber. Use wipes instead of toilet paper and a tucks pad to follow up. Currently right there with ya, mama! Stay strong!

Hemorrhoids have been a problem for me since week 14. My doctor has me taking colace regularly.
When they do get bad I use perpetration H, ice, and Tylenol.

I feel you. I got a big one after a stomach bug over the weekend. I’ve been doing epsom salt baths and witch hazel pads. It’s been 4 days with little improvement, but I go see my OB tomorrow and plan on getting advice.
