My 5 day old son was born this past weekend with Jaundice. Doctors said it was pretty high so they wanted to see him on Tuesday, the following day after my discharge. On Tuesday the blood test came back lower. BUT when I went again to the hospital on Wednesday(because in addition to jaundice he lost A LOT of weight & requested another blood test due to yellow eyes) the blood test confirmed it went back up!

Now I have an appointment on Friday. Has this happened to anyone child. What is your experience with this? How severe is this? My son eats well. He drinks 3 oz every 2 hrs
