How Soon?

Question

How soon did you/will you tell your older kids about your rainbow? I've never had a miscarriage and our only loss was full-term after birth this past April. My husband knows and my Kaia Koach knows. I'm almost 5 weeks and wanted to start weekly poctures on Sunday. I'm very confident with my June 9th due date.

I had just told my son who was 8 at the time, we were pregnant! 12 weeks along. Two days later I lost our little love. 
So when I got pregnant again, I told him right away. As scary and nervous as he was he was excited and so hopefully. He is my first living child, my rainbow! He reminds me every day that he is alive (and in school 🤣) He just turned 9 and I'm happy to say I'm almost 19 weeks with our second rainbow baby. 
It really depends on the kids I would think. We're really close my oldest and me. I couldn't keep anything from him again. I regret not telling him soon last time. Our whole families knew right away this time around. We needed support.

My 11 year old daughter only child was very devastated when we found out I had a MMC  so to protect her little heart I won't be telling her maybe till Christmas or new years 15-18 weeks . Sooo hard not to say anything.
