What to cook for dinner?

Okay working moms...I hate to cook and I’m working on my budget because we are going to be buying a house soon and I’m trying to save some extra money, what do you like to cook for dinner? Looking for semi easy meals, crockpot meals, etc. please help a mama out with some ideas! 😊

One of our favorite crockpot meals is literally just salsa and chicken. I throw chicken breast into the bottom and dump whichever salsa I want that day (mild, hot, corn, etc) over the top and cook on high for 4 hours. The first night its served over rice with cheese sprinkled on top. The leftovers I shred the next day and use to either make tacos or quesadillas with.

Pork roast with potatoes, carrots, onion, and garlic in the crock pot is my favorite! Pork roasts are pretty cheap and feed quite a bit too!!

My favorite thing to do is get a whole chicken big and cook it in the crockpot Shredded all chicken save bones, skin what ever left overs 
 Day 1 chickeninstead mashed potatoes (Idaho brand)with a veggie and possibly gravy with dippings from crockpot 
Day 2 bbq sandwiches and a veggie 
Day 3 chicken quesadillas and veggie 
Day 4 make bone broth in crockpot out of all the scraps and saved dippings for chicken noodle soup add what ever veggie noodles or rice 
If I watch the sales right I can get a pretty big chicken for 5-7$ 
we are a family of four

My favorite thing is rice bowls! Make a huge batch of rice at the beginning of the week and keep different toppings  and dressings on hand for different combos every night.
Toppings: 
- Roasted veggies
- Caramelized onions
- Sun dried tomatoes
- Hummus
- Chickpeas

- Edamame
- Olives
- peppers
- Cucumbers
Dressings:
- Maple syrup+ siracha + tahini
- Yogurt siracha
- Basalmic vinegar + olive oil
- Peanut soy (peanut butter, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce)

I make a big batch of marinara sauce and freeze it so that on busy nights I can heat that up, boil some pasta, and cook some shrimp or chicken to go on top and boom, dinner in under 30 minutes.

Chili cheese dogs, homemade pizza (pre-made crust), tacos, Sheppard's pie, Frito pie, hamburgers, stews/soups, casseroles (make them in advance and freeze)

Soups. Soups all the way lol. Can make them out of literally anything, they go a long ways, you can premake and freeze them, and they're relatively cheap for being fresh food.
