Trying to chose a breast pump brand.. I’ve narrowed it down to Madela and Spectra but I’m open to any suggestions! Let me know what you like and why!!

Really love my Ardo Calypso. Closed system, which beat the Medela for me. Then it has massaging inserts that encourage a letdown, which is why I liked it better than Spectra. Easy to clean, comfortable, and quiet.

I had a medela last time. Bubba was born at 27 weeks so had to exclusively pump; I'd done no research as I had planned to formula feed so just bought the biggest brand that the hospital recommended.
It was OK... But just OK. I felt like it just wasn't enough.
I had the swing, but in NICU I used the hospitals symphony.
This time round I'll be buying the spectra. Have heard nothing but good things about it.
My plan is to get the spectra, buy the medela adaptors and then keep my medela swing for things like the car/overnight visits/back to work etc.
So spectra will be primarily home use.
I will not be buying anything thats not double breast this time!

I love my Spectra! The suction and speed are very customizable for your comfort and it’s so quiet. I have literally gone 5 minutes past when I planned on stopping because I forgot I was pumping lol. I also like that it’s a closed system.
