My husband just graduated from college with a degree in Construction Technology. The area we live in has limited opportunity, so he's been trying to find a job out of town. I'm so torn, because we just started TTC Baby #2, and the more I think about it...the more I hate the idea of him leaving. He has a great job here, but hates his job and doesn't want to work in a place where he can't even utilize his degree (he's a senior detention officer). It's very common for men in our area to get jobs out of town and leave their families at home. I know of at least 4 couples who are in that current situation, who have either divorced or are miserable. I'm a worrier by nature and can't help but stress constantly!!!! 😯 Is anyone out there in a similar situation or in a long distance relationship and somehow managing to make it work?
