Will giving baby bottle make nipple shield weaning harder?
My baby was born three weeks early and lacked the muscles to properly latch. I have been using a nipple shield now (he is 3 weeks old). My doctor told me to introduce one bottle a day of pumped breast milk to get him ready for when I go back to work.
I eventually want to wean him from the nipple shield as it is a huge pain and would rather him just latch to my nipple. I am worried that introducing a bottle will just make it harder to wean from nipple.
Anyone have any experience?
