Some friends of mine were telling me how they used the "cry it out" method on their daughter at 3 months old. The first night she cried for 45 minutes, then woke up again later and cried for 20 minutes. The second night she cried for 15 minutes. The third night she slept through the night.

I am wondering though - is 3 months too early for CIO? Not sure if I even want to use this method for my baby yet but if I do, I'm wondering when they are old enough to handle crying it out.
