My MIL criticize small things all the time:

- the picture is titled (it wasn’t)

- the fridge should be cooler (it was perfect temperature)

- tv is not centered to the wall (it wasn’t because it was centered to the couch we sit on)

- your dog is too skinny ( he is perfect and we take him to the vet often for shots because he is a puppy and is weight is perfect)

- I always cook (do it, clean it etc) it this way,

I like to set my boundaries so I normally reply but it stills bothers me. I can only imagine when we finally have kids how she will criticize how I rise them. 😳
