Heartburn at 15 weeks?

Is it normal for heartburn to just... appear out of thin air? I’ve been fine all this time and today, I have had the worst heartburn! When did you all experience heartburn?

Mine has come and gone the whole time. It’s got nothing to do with what I eat either Bc I could eat the same thing and one time I get heartburn and the other I don’t. I was researching it a few months ago and they said it’s because of the relaxin in your body. It can actually have a relaxing effect on the muscle that keeps your stomach seals off and sometimes it sort of leaks back up. #thankspregnancy
