I don’t follow the wonder weeks app or anything, but I’ve read a bit about these Leap weeks. My son just turned 1 on the 28th. On the 29th, he clapped for the first time (and hasn’t looked back since! Haha). He even understands when to clap (at the end of songs, when people applaud on t.v.). Yesterday he took 6 steps on his own. Then tonight, he took about 30 steps on his own! The downside however, is he has been seeming to get upset super easy now. I’ve been asking him “why?” a lot (lol, cuz I have no idea why he’s suddenly upset out of no where). He’s fed, he’s changed, I’m playing with him....??? Also, when I’m feeding him lately.... he starts off happy to eat whatever I’m giving him. Then, once again, seemingly out of no where, just starts crying, and is upset. I offer him more/different bites... nope. Water? Nope. And at that point, he hasn’t eaten as much as he usually would. But, he won’t take anything else. So, I can’t force him.

Is this sounding like his “Leap week?”

Or, he also had his 12 month appointment on Monday. He got 3 vaccines plus the flu shot. How long does fussiness from the vaccines last? Maybe it’s both situations? 🤷🏻‍♀️
