Diaper change at night?

My baby is 5 months and sleeping a good 4-5 hours before waking at night and eating but I don’t change his diaper until morning unless he poops then I will change it, is this right or should I be changing it like I was when he was a newborn which was at every feeding?

My daughter sleeps 12 hours since 4 months. She’s 6 months now. She’ll wake up if she goes poop and I change her if course. I don’t wake her up to change her pee diaper. If she woke up though during the night I will change the diaper. I think you only need to worry if she has diaper rash...

My daughter tends to sleep through the night and usually only pee’s during that time. I apply Vaseline to her tush before bed to prevent rash and then if she decides to sleep all night I let her. If I hear her wake up and fuss or make noises I’ll go ahead and change her though. But I don’t specifically wake her up to change her if she’s sleeping well.

At 5 months my son was in size 5 diapers (he was chubby) I just bounced him to 2t3t pull ups and it worked great. The hold alittle more and you dont have to change the until they wake up in the morning unless they pooped
