Need advice..

My bf for 3 yrs and I just had a fight because I found out that he got sick and he didnt bother to tell me about it. He said that the reason he didnt tell me is he doesnt want me to worry. And even his whole family doesnt know, only his mom. Good thing the results came clean but he also told me that even if the result was bad and he is dying he wont tell me because he doesnt want to worry me or his family! Like wth?? I just dont know what to tell him
