Is anyone planning on cloth diapering?

Question

I'm due in 3 weeks. I can not believe how many people I've talked to are so anti-cloth. It's really bizarre. Lol
Has anyone else had this issue? What do you say? I'm not offended, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I don't get why it's such a big deal...
Also, tips and tricks if you have experience with cloth diapers would be appreciated. I'm a ftm. :)

Ive never had anyone say anything negative about it i cloth diapered my DD until.she potty trained at 16 months and when my son is born with with cloth his butt too! I love it!! She never had any rashes except from teething and it wasnt as hard to do as people think it is!!

I plan on doing both because daycare won’t do cloth diapers :( check out greenmountaindiapers.com. They are a pretty good resource. There is also a cloth diaper group in here that is pretty helpful. Once you narrow down what system you want it will be easier to figure out what all you need

I’m not bothered by it at all. I think it’s great, more power to all you mamas. I have 4 kids and just don’t want too lol. No other reason than that I’m busy enough and my brain can’t deal with it.

I did cloth starting at about 2.5 months (once they fit baby better).  I loved them and easy to wash in washer.  I used bumgenius after lots of research!

I literally havent bought any diapers at all, including cloth diapers, for my 2nd baby, except a few small packs of disposables for the first couple of weeks. I have two kids in diapers, and the laundry really isnt a big deal at all. The money savings are!!

I am doing cloth! I did with my first from about a week old and am planning to again with this  one. My sister in law (who doesn't have kids) was opposed bc she thinks it's gross 🤷 my mother in law wasn't very supportive but didn't say anything negative. She never asked to learn how to change them though so she never changed a diaper on my daughter. I wasn't going to push it bc I know she wasn't into them but she never watched my daughter either. And my mom was into it bc she did cloth as well 😊 
I used green mountain Diaper prefolds with covers (that I made). I held the prefolds with a snappi. Definitely worth it and not that big of a deal 🤷

I plan on a little bit of both. 😊 I used only disposable with my last two but def see the pros of using cloth and less trash to add to landfills... they have come A LONG way since I was a baby and my mom used them.
