Did I overreact?

I’m 16 weeks, and two days ago I felt a gush of fluid come out when I stood up. I went to check and it was yellowish, so I called my ob and she said if I keep leaking, go to the ER, and I kept leaking, so I did. Baby is perfect, no amniotic fluid leaking or anything. I just was wondering if I overreacted by going to the er?

No. You did what you were told to do and what you felt was right. If you feel something is wrong, go.

You can get litmus-paper at the pharmacy to test yourself. But my doctor keeps saying: If you are unsure, ask me or the midwife or the ER. That's their job.
I got myself some litmus-paper anyway ;-)

My first pregnancy I was in & out of the ER because I wanted to be more "safe than sorry". Don't feel guilty, & don't feel like you overreacted. We all need some peace of mind.

I had the exact same thing and went in to midwife and she tested for amniotic leakage. All was good though!

Same thing happened to me around 13 weeks I went into ER. Turned out to just be watery discharge but I'm glad I went in. You just never know!

Better safe than sorry!!! My second baby was stillborn so with my 3rd I went in any time I felt something was wrong if my doctors office was closed
