Mucinex for de congestion just ain’t cutting it and I normally don’t have sinus issues. What can I buy????

I like tylenol sinus severe. I have chronic sinusitis. Works great for my pain.

If it’s a sinus infection, you most likely need a prescription antibiotic to get rid of it. Over the counter will only give you temporary relief of the symptoms but won’t kill the infection

Mucinex is more for chest congestion. For sinus pressure/infection most people use Sudafed from behind the pharmacy counter. Personally, I think Afrin nasal spray works miracles.

If its an actual  infection.... only antibiotics. BUT if you have a sinus cold,  i like Advil cold and sinus, u have to get it from the pharmacist its a green box (the yellow box is okay,not the best) and one pill not 2.  Saline  rinses  (neti pot)
