Acne spot treatment

Hi ladies, I’ve been breaking out quite a bit since I found out I’m pregnant. I finally caved and bought spot treatment. After a few days of using it I thought “I wonder if this is safe” and I googled my concern to find out pregnant women should NOT use spot treatment. I’m really irritated my doctors didn’t mention this. I’m wondering if it’s not that big of a deal and that’s why they didn’t say anything. Have you all been monitoring the facial products you use?

My next dr visit is in less than a week so I’ll check with my doctor then.
