Ugh should I cut my hair?

I don’t have a picture of my hair rn because I’m not confident enough to show a picture of me I just need someone to I don’t know hype me up to cut my hair. I’ve been wanting to do this but I feel like it would look bad. I want to do this because I’m bored of my long ass hair and also I want it to teach me a lesson on how to not give a fuck. If it turns out bad then it will grow eventually I guess

You don't have to cut the full amount you want to all at once. You can cut off a few inches at a time, see if you like it, and then cut off more if you want to.

I'd say just go for it as it's only hair and it will grow back and you can donate the hair you chop off I like my hair short like chin length and I like my hair long my least favorite is when it is in the middle stages and then when it starts to get too long and boring again I chop it all back off
Though you could also try some layers or highlights or other fun things for confidence and for a change 
Depending on just how long your hair is you still normally can even donate a part of it while still keeping quite a bit of length
