No period and negative test?

Question

Hey guys so I was supposed to get my period on the 27th it never came. My husband and I started trying for baby number two last month. I’ve taken two pregnancy test and they have come back negative. I’m still breastfeeding my son but have had my cycle back since 3 months pp and he’s almost ten months. It comes the same day every month like clock work so I guess my question is is there a chance I’m pregnant ? Or did I just miss my period?
Also could I still be ovulating without getting my period?

I’m also still breastfeeding my almost 10 month old and I got my period back just 2 month after having her. Last month my period was late by exactly a week, I though to my self I have to be pregnant. Took a pregnancy test and it was negative, but I did take that test before bed and I always have read morning pee is best so I took another test in the morning and still negative. That same day, we were out all day and all I wanted to do was come home and take another test. So once we got home i went straight to the bathroom and that’s when my period showed up ONE WEEK LATE ! So frustrating.

The first day of my last period was September 3rd. I did a pregnancy test when I was suppose to and it came back negative. I thought I was out for September and was just waiting for my peroid. When my peroid was 4 weeks late I tested again and got a faint positive. Doctor did a blood draw and I was pregnant. Come to find out I ovulated late due to breastfeeding my 8 month old. Breastfeeding messes with your hormones and makes your body do crazy stuff. I was concerned because I thought my faint positive should be bright positive based on my last period. However, because I ovulated late, everything is fine. I'm just not as far along as I "should" be. If I were you I would retest in a couple of weeks l. Good luck!
