What do you dress winter babies in?

My daughter is due December 5th. We will be going to Christmas parties a few weeks after she’s born.

So, how do you keep baby warm?

We’d just be walking to & from the car. She wouldn’t be out of her car seat until we’re inside!

Do I put her in her clothes For the occasion, put a blanket on her & close her winter car seat cover? Is that enough warmth for the walk to the car?

But then inside the car with the heat blasting, will she end up getting too hot? Do I need to take the blanket out?

My first born was a May summer baby. I am not used to newborns in the cold 😂
