How weird is it to start over?

I am currently 17 weeks pregnant with baby number two. My girl will be 2 years and 3 months when baby brother gets here. I'm babysitting my friend's 3 month old and it just feels so foreign. Like, I have no idea how to do all this little baby stuff after chasing around a crazy toddler since she was barely a year old. Is it easy to go back into that old rhythm, or are you guys finding it to be difficult (if you have two kids already)? It's making me nervous.

For me the newborn thing was easy this time. You already know what to expect so you worry less and fall back into the routine easily. The difficult part this time was trying to learn to balance newborn and toddler at the same time.

I worried about it too. Mine are 21 months apart. I held my cousin's newborn a couple of months ago and it was scary holding something that tiny again.
But honestly, when my youngest son was born (September 15th), it was like nothing had changed at all. It all came back to me. It was like I'd still been doing this all along. It's not even that different having two yet.

I just had my second child 8 days ago and it’s been easier and harder in many ways. Im more comfortable with the newborn cares than I was with my oldest but it’s also a lot harder this time around because I’m chasing a crazy toddler and have a very clingy newborn

We had #2 in July and it's been easier and harder. The whole nb thing is way easier, it's not as stressful or scary. But juggling the 2 of their needs is hard. Some days it's super overwhelming, others we go through with suspicious ease.

I had my second child almost 11 wks ago. It was easier and harder as most have testified to.  
It took some time to get in a rhythm but eventually it gets there. My children are 19.5 months a part. The oldest is almost 22 months.

Naturally fall into place because they will have to! I just tried to remember how long it took to feel like I was in a routine with my first and not have any expectations of a routine coming in any sooner with two to deal with. Failing that I always think of my mum that had 4 under 6years for a bit of inspiration!!
